Recommendation to use Strong Passwords

What is a Strong Password?

Strong passwords cannot be guessed easily. Hackers often use automated tools to help them guess or crack passwords, and the easier a password is to guess, the faster a hacker can break into a system.

A strong password is one that is hard for someone to break into. It consists of random letters and numbers set out in a way that no one can run a program against your password to figure it out.

Why does TradeKey recommend use of Strong Password?

Your password is the key to your complete TradeKey account information which includes your personal information, buy/sell offers, products, Message Center etc. Strong Passwords protect both your TradeKey account and your personal information.

What can happen incase you don’t use a Strong Password?

Hackers can break into easy to guess password, access your private information and use it to impersonate you and harm your business. They can destroy your important messages in MessageCenter and harm your reputation with your Customers, and so much more.

How to create a Strong Password?

You can create a strong password by following these guidelines:

    Password length should be 6 to 12 characters
  
    Use a mix of upper case and lower case letters, digits and special characters     (e.g., #, >, %, @, *,    etc)
  
    Use at least four different characters (don't repeat the same characters)
  
    Don’t use all or part of your login name
  
    Don’t use a real word in any language

TradeKey does not permit the trading of products that are illegal, infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others, or may easily be used for illegal purposes.  Over time, TradeKey has also prohibited the trade of other products due to negative trading experiences.  

 As a member of TradeKey, you are ultimately responsible for ensuring that the products you have posted are permissible.  Therefore before posting any product, you should ensure that your product does not fall within the TradeKey ‘Banned Products’ list.

 TradeKey reserves the right to remove any products that violate the ‘Product Posting Policy’ from its website without informing the member.  TradeKey also reserves the right to disable the accounts of any members who continue to violate the ‘Product Posting Policy’ after having been warned.

· Adult subscription services or chatting services.

· Firearms, Ammunition, High Capacity Magazines, Tasers, Stun Guns, Air Guns, Weapons.

· Religious items and products (E.g, Religious books, art, crafts, sculptures jewelry etc)

· Products or images showcasing nudity.

· Products or images containing profanity.

· Posts That Promote Hatred, Racism or Religious Persecution

· Art displaying Humans or Animals (including paintings, pictures, figures, sculptures)

· Art displaying Religious Places or Scenery (e.g. churches, mosques, temples, etc.)

· Musical Instruments & Related Products (E.g Guitars, drums, violin, music books, etc.)

· Fireworks or Pyrotechnic Devices or Supplies

· Alcoholic beverages and related products.

· Tobacco Products, Smoking Mixtures or Tobacco Substitutes

· Human Body Parts, Fluids, and Remains

· Animals or Animal parts.

· Products related to or containing Pigs or Pig parts (e.g. Pork meat, Pork ears, Pork feet and other pork related items)

· IPR Infringing, Replica, and Name Brand "Knock Off" Products.

· Requests for Donations

· Prescription Drugs or Devices, Controlled Substances, Unapproved Drugs, Unapproved Medical Devices.

· Illegal Drugs and Drug Paraphernalia

· Hazardous Materials, Combustibles, Corrosives

· Spyware, Spamware, E-Mail Advertising, Opt-In or Any Commercial Messaging Services

· Gambling and Gambling related products.

· Lottery, Raffle, Contests related

· Financial Services or Advice, Securities Trading, Insurance, Currency Exchange, Trading Signals and Precious Metals.

· Any Service or Product Requiring a License to Practice, e.g. Legal, Medical or Therapy Services
